Farah Uddin, born and raised in London currently residing in West Midlands with my family. I developed a love for literature from a young age, spending hours lost in the pages of books and creating my own fantastical worlds.
With a background in Classical Literature, I try to bring a unique perspective to my writing, often drawing inspiration from personal experiences, historical events, or cultural influences. When thinking up new ideas, what I always ask myself is, is this something I would find interesting when reading?
I have always wanted to write, but work and life always seemed to leave me with not enough time until last year when I decided, if not now then when? And thus began the process of turning a dream into something real. In addition to writing, I love reading, all genres! Some of my favourite authors include Agatha Christie, Madeline Miller, Natalie Haynes, Kresley Cole, J.R Ward, RL Mathewson and Virginia Andrews. An eclectic mix, what can I say.
Growing up I predominantly read wonderful Mills & Boon books, oh how I loved those romances, and still do, until one day I came across Sherrilyn Kenyon, and her books fed into my classical literature side, with a twist. When not immersed in the world of writing, I have been known to dabble in knitting and cooking and baking, jack of all trades and master of none, that about sums me up.
